CALL TO ORDER - The Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Arnold at 7:02 p.m.

ADOPTION OF AGENDA – Acting Mayor Arnold presented the agenda.  Ms.Williams motioned to accept the Agenda.  Motion seconded by Mr.Spruill.   All in favor; none opposed.

SWEARING IN OF CANDIDATE

• Ms. Georganne Wagner was sworn in by Pamela Haddick, Notary & Town Clerk.

NOMINATIONS

• Acting Mayor Arnold called for nominations for Vice Mayor. Ms. Williams motioned to nominate Harold Arnold.  Motion seconded by Mr. Witt.  All in favor; none opposed.
• Acting Mayor Arnold called for nominations for Secretary.  Ms. Williams motioned to nominate Georganne Wagner.  Mr. Witt seconded the motion.  All in favor; none opposed.
• Acting Mayor Arnold called for nominations for Treasurer.  Acting Mayor Arnold nominated Georgette Williams.  Mr. Spruill seconded the motion.  All in favor; none opposed. 

COMMISSIONERS

• Acting Mayor Arnold stated that the three commissioners, Park, Streets and Beautification would be combined into one.  Ms. Williams nominated Bill Spruill for the park/street/beautification commissioner.  Mr. Witt  seconded the motion.  All in favor; none opposed.

APPOINTMENT OF TOWN SOLICITOR –

• Mr. Witt nominated J. Terry Jaywork as the Town Solicitor.  Mr. Spruill seconded the motion.  All in favor; none opposed.

EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENTS

• Chief of Police – Chief Chuck Manuszak
• Town Clerk – Pamela Haddick
• Finance Clerk – Nicole Armour
• Maintenance Director – Lewis Denham

Ms. Williams moved to nominate all the above.  Mr. Spruill seconded the motion.  All in favor; none opposed.

• Board of Adjustments – Current members as read by Vice Mayor Arnold:  Laurie Coventry, Joanne Everett, Paula King, Carston Wagner.  Mr. Witt moved to nominate those listed for Board of Adjustments.  Mr. Spruill seconded the motion.  All in favor; none opposed.
