CALL TO ORDER - The Meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Arnold at 7:04 p.m.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE – Butch Arnold

INVOCATION – Bill Spruill

ADOPTION OF AGENDA – Ms. Williams moved to accept the agenda but table sections VI through XII until after the empty council seat is filled.  Mr. Spruill seconded the motion.  All in favor; none opposed.

SWEARING IN OF CANDIDATES

1. Georgette Williams was sworn in by Town Clerk Pam Haddick, Notary
2. Terry Witt was sworn in by Town Clerk Pam Haddick, Notary

Mr. Witt made a motion to temporarily suspend the reorganization meeting until interested parties in the vacant council seat have been interviewed by council and a new council member has been chosen.  Mr. Spruill seconded the motion.  All in favor; none opposed.
