10/13/09 Planning & Zoning Minutes

Meeting Called to Order:  7:37 PM

OLD BUSINESS:

Comprehensive Plan Update:
 
             B.J. had a good discussion with Dave Edghill regarding the Mill property.  Dave and B.J. concluded that the property could potentially be used in conjunction with the small parcel of Papen land which is no longer in agricultural preservation.  Did this parcel not go back into agricultural preservation?  B.J. will have the answer to the agricultural preservation question before next week’s public workshop.  If these parcels were combined it would help with the floodplain/wetland concern also.    

Park Benches:

            We need to decide when we will install the donated park benches in the park.  It would be a good idea to complete this task before it gets cold, and before the holidays are in full effect.
